Terminal Meerhout

In 1996, BCTN Meerhout launched as Belgium’s pioneering inland container terminal Meerhout subsequently grew to become the largest container terminal in the Benelux. This site, operating around the clock, serves dozens of companies every day with full and empty containers.

Our Meerhout site offers a wide range of services, ranging from container storage and customs service to gas measurement and defumigation. With our own fleet of trucks, we can also facilitate the final road miles of your container’s journey.

Terminal details

BCTN Meerhout is strategically located on the Albert Canal between Antwerp and Liège, a short distance from the E313 motorway. As a result, the connection to both the hinterland and the major ports in the Benelux is excellent.

With a depot for almost every shipping company and fixed connections to the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam, BCTN Meerhout is a perfect alternative to the busy hinterland connection.
